Nobody’s launch fails because the logo was slightly wrong. Stores fail at launch because payments error out on UPI, shipping charges surprise customers at checkout, or the site collapses on a phone. Here’s the checklist we run before any store goes live.
Money
- Test every payment method end-to-end with real ₹1 transactions: UPI, cards, net banking, COD
- GST invoices generate automatically with your GSTIN and correct rates
- Shipping rules tested for every zone you deliver to — including the expensive ones
- Refund and cancellation flow tested, and the policy page written in plain words
Trust
- Real address and phone number visible — buyers check before paying a new store
- Return/refund policy, shipping policy, privacy policy and terms — all present
- Product photos on white/neutral backgrounds, zoomable on mobile
- Reviews or testimonials on product pages, even if seeded from early customers
Technology
- Full purchase completed on a ₹10,000 Android phone on 4G — not just your iPhone on Wi-Fi
- PageSpeed 85+ on mobile for home, category and product pages
- Product schema so Google can show price and availability in search
- Abandoned-cart emails/WhatsApp messages configured
- Order notifications reach YOU reliably — email plus WhatsApp backup
- Analytics and Search Console connected from day one
- Automatic daily backups tested with an actual restore
Launch day isn’t when you finish building the store. It’s when you’ve finished breaking it yourself, before customers can.
This is the checklist we run on every store we ship — with the fixes included, not billed as surprises. If you’re mid-build and want a second pair of eyes, our pre-launch audit is free over WhatsApp.
